The Concept Design is a key stage of any project; this initial design sets the parameters for the scheme design that follows.
It is important that the concept design captures all of the influencing factors that might inform the design decisions. this can be applied to any environment whether its a Bar area you want to create from scratch or canteen being more modern and ergonomic.
This stage of the project is often a critical ‘sign off stage’ by the customer and we would usually expect there to be an intensive period of dialogue as the design brief develops in to the initial concept.
There’s no one right way to generate a Concept Design and what works for one won’t necessarily work for another.
Defining the problem –
You can’t solve a problem without knowing what that problem is. Before we are able to develop a concept we need to talk to you and ask questions about your brand, your customers and even understand your general market, and goals for the proposal.
Research –
Inevitably you won’t be able to tell us everything we want to know. We will research your industry looking at competing sites and trying to understand more about your market.
Our one to one approach allows for better communication, more interaction which ultimately leads to solutions that not only looks good on paper but actually delivers year after year.
From a blank canvas, we need to understand the space and what is required.
